Monica Dejesus Anaya (Peer Heath Navigator at Chicago House), Aka Monica Beverly Hillz Trans icon, Activist, Artist leads a free teach in to talk about how trans visibility is important and crucial in todays climate (especially trans individuals not in the media), how exactly we show support and what work is being  done at Chicago house .

Immediately following the teach-in (at 9pm), will be a ticketed drag show  / dance party + fundraiser with a portion of the proceeds going to assist in the emergency relocation of Trans individuals to Chicago

Monica-She/Her -Publicly known as MONICA BEVERLY HILLZ, is a trans activist and entertainment personality. As an iconic pioneer, she is the first trans woman to come out as a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5 & Allstars 8. She has performed in the art of drag for nearly two decades, getting her start in the Chicago LGBTQ House, Latinx salsa, and bachata clubs. Monica recently released her full-length version of her viral hit, “Not A Soul Can Clock,” featuring other trans women of color artists, Tsmadison and Neverendingninanotes , and collaboration with Kctransformations sisters to provide tips and strategies for the dolls engaged in survival work with the new “A Path or Roses” s3x worker field guide. She is known for her feminine, sensual, and fiery spirit - and for simply keeping it real. She is an established activist committed to supporting queer and transgender youth, working with survivors of sexual exploitation and homelessness, and is a community advisory board member for Transformations, a trans woman of color-led nonprofit serving trans communities of color & Now A peer health navigator for " Chicago House Social Services / TLC." Provides Housing, Health , and employment support to individuals impacted By HIV /Aids as well as the most vulnerable in our LGBTQ communities Especially Transgender and gender non conforming individuals
