Cardboard People is an electro-pop group from the Bay Area consisting of singer Yunoka Berry and producer/songwriter Jim Greer. Known for uber-high-energy performance and creative genre-hopping, Cardboard People have been performing on Bay Area stages from the MOMA to the Makeout Room, and in the words of 48Hills, “stealing crowds, piling up those “oh my gawd” moments..go get gobsmacked by this gotta-see band making waves”. Cardboard People have toured to NYC and back in 2025 and are releasing 2 EPs this year , following up their well-received 2024 release, Tigress Lane ( War Chant Recordings).

Janeece is a rising force in the indie pop scene, making waves from the heart of Chicago with a sound as heartfelt as it is undeniable. Blending the raw vulnerability of Cat Burns, the bold pop sensibility of Reneé Rapp, and the electronic edge of Sylvan Esso, Janeece crafts music that speaks directly to the soul — and the sapphic heart. Fresh off the release of their latest album The Sun Will Come Out, which dropped on New Year’s Eve, Janeece is ushering in a new era of healing, self-love, and unapologetic queer joy. With lyrics rooted in lived experience and a voice that cuts through the noise, Janeece is not just making music — they’re making space. Janeece is here, queer, and ready to soundtrack your healing, your heartbreak, and your happiest dance floor moments. The new wave of Black, queer indie-pop has arrived — and her name is Janeece.

justJOY is a indie pop powerhouse from Chicago, IL. Leaning into blending the sounds of the “close-to-heart” West Coast soundscapes and “move-your-body” electric melodies of Western Europe, justJOY delivers a perfectly unique blend of her two favorite worlds. Her fans adore her honest and relatable lyricism, as she describes the once-in-a-lifetime experience that is being in your twenties. With Joy on vocals and guitar, Michael Salgado on bass, Nate Cowan on lead guitar, Tony Hisch (of Zorila) on drums and Q Smith on keys, this band is sure to add a fun, pop-forward set to your summer in Chicago lineup! Our influences include: The Foo Fighters, Chapelle Roan, Billie Eilish, Clairo, Valley, The 1975 and even Belgian artist Stromae! If you’re looking for someone to bring in moving bodies, have the room dancing and grooving, we’re your band!
