Through unexpected collisions of psychedelia, prog rock, shoegaze, and blues, the band decorates a sprawling sonic landscape with lyrics and melodies that walk a tightrope of restless, youthful exploration and mystical profundity.
Toadvine is an alt-country band out of Chicago, Illinois. Their sound is equal parts 60s-influenced garage-y indie rock and equal parts roadhouse bar country; essentially they sound kind of like if Elephant 6 held a jamboree at the Grand Ole Opry.
Boyce Delles, Jim The Kid’s alter ego, is a collage performance driven by drum machines, over driven synth lines and cassette demos. All of which are backed by a stack of CRT tv’s that have been converted into oscilloscopes.
