Combining elements of Indie Rock, New Wave, Shoegaze and Dream Pop – Seth Beck creates an ethereal and enveloping world of driving dreamscapes and shining, sparkling fuzz.Morvern Hum is a new shoegaze/dream pop band based in Chicago influenced by bands from the 90s such as Rocketship, Swirlies, and My Bloody Valentine, as well as newer groups like Men I Trust and The Marías.Half Scratches is Chicago art-popLauren Kenyon (Twocell) began her minimalist indie-rock mischief in her childhood bedroom while being trapped by the suffocation that only living in a small town in Colorado can bring. Starting with her phone and the garageband app, she slowly developed her sore-throat sound that only the D.I.Y approach can elevate. The Twocell sound has been likened to that of simplistic folk rock following artists like Brittle Brian, Alex G, and Angel Olsen.

John Forrest & The Model Citizens are an alternative band based in Minneapolis Minnesota. With an upbeat danceable sound the music tries to capture the changing dynamics of love, self-destruction, loneliness, and isolation in the digital age.

Proudly representing his Mexican roots, Essse Güey records both in Spanish & English. Fueled by a concoction of rage, love, and passion he turned his pain into beauty and has fun with every lyric he writes.  It is clear to see he his style cannot be boxed in and his sound is like nothing you’ve heard before. It’s ever changing and evolving with the times. When he isn’t in the lab creating, The self proclaimed Chicano de Michoacán is pioneering for his fellow Latino people in music. The Chicago artist curates events that mostly showcase the Latinx voice which he feels are under represented in the Chicago music scene. In hosting and performing in these events all over the US and Mexico, Essse Güey, uses his platform to shine a light on the talent and message of his people. Linnea’s Garden plays glam punk rock you can dance to. Imagine the angular guitars of Television, primal bass lines of The Clash, danceworthy grooves of Blondie, and otherworldly songwriting and stage show of David Bowie, fronted by a queer singer/songwriter/scientist. Loud, shiny and full of distortion: they do it cuz they like to do it. They say the things people are afraid to say. Linnea’s Garden is currently touring in support of their new single, “Chaotic Bisexual Summer,” which comes out June 14, 2024.There’s no such thing as taking it easy when it comes to Oddysseys. Born to Pakistani immigrants in the summer of 93, Syed spent his early years on the north side of Chicago before drifting through various suburbs. After a musical shift in 2018, the artist “Sy!” was born. Swapping his gritty trap sound for a smooth, melodic approach. Incorporating harmonies, catchy flows, and vocal chops to a range of instrumentals spanning numerous genres.

Creaturefight is good music for moody people.Cam is a singer, rapper, songwriter and producer who has been making music in Chicago since 2018. She’s collaborated with various Chicago indie staples such as Billy Lemos, Jackie Hayes and Don’t Be Kendall, as well as heavy hitter names in the industry like Redveil. They strive to create music and spaces for queer, Black, youths.

Formed from the scattered ashes of rock & roll elusives, SNACKS brings primal, violently catchy jams to a thirsty southern audience. Focused on basement recordings & life in Alabama, SNACKS became a full-fledged guitar & synth driven live, revealing themselves to not only have timeless 60’s pop sounds with jangly hooks but also drone and psych abilities not too far removed from the likes of Spacemen 3 or The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Infectiously catchy tunes with vocal melodies that stay stuck in your head days after.Modern Cults is power pop trash pop slacker pop rock. With continuing inspiration from Sparklehorse and an added dose of just cryptic enough songwriting from the likes of Stephen Malkmus and Alex G, Modern Cults is urgent and complex but easily accessible with melodies catchier than a cold.Snowcuffs is a Chicago-based dream pop band, transcending the genre with razor-sharp hooks, entrancing vocals, and a bombastic rhythm section. Dueling guitars and hypnotic synths take the driver’s seat, producing a lush, multi-layered sound.
