Perfect Mash: A Dating Show

Perfect Mash is a monthly inclusive dating show from Hot Potato Hearts!  Come early to the show to mingle, flirt, and most importantly fill out compatibility quizzes for each featured dater they are interested in. The show itself will be a combination of games, interviews, and storytelling exploring what our featured daters need and want out of their Perfect Mash. While the show is going on the Hot Potato Hearts team will be combing the quizzes filled out earlier to determine the three most compatible attendees for each featured dater. The daters will choose their Perfect Mash from their top three after chatting with them all on stage. The three Perfect Mashes will then blindly pick a date activity. Trust me you won’t be disappointed with these dates; friends of Hot Potato Hearts, Lincoln Hall, Uncommon Ground, Avondale Bowl, Central Park Bar, and Bernice’s Tavern to name a few, have graciously sponsored the winning dates.

Jenn Taiga, The Human Veil, Mortlach, Black Triangle Badge

Pittsburgh-via-Massachusetts synthesist Jenn Taiga draws from a cornucopia of influences to craft a resplendent and dark style of music tangentially related to dungeon synth and Berlin school music. A prolific studio artist and even more active touring act, Jenn Taiga draws from real-life experiences– putting on full display her deep struggles as a trans woman in America, as well as her deep affinity for SM –to craft a unique live presence with a performance which is as extramusical as it is exciting. Performed entirely live and exclusively with analog synthesizers, Jenn Taiga’s entrancing performances are marked with a professional level of skill and an unexpected measure of fun.   THE HUMAN VEIL is the dark brainchild of Helena Ford that combines the dank atmospheres of dungeon synth, the eerie and dark air of dark ambient, and the caustic environments of harsh noise   Mortlach is dark dungeon synth from an old count who wanders the ruins of an old castle. Evoking feelings of adventure, suspense and horror, Mortlach’s music takes you deep into the castle dungeons where who knows what you’ll find
