Creaturefight is good music for moody people.Cam is a singer, rapper, songwriter and producer who has been making music in Chicago since 2018. She’s collaborated with various Chicago indie staples such as Billy Lemos, Jackie Hayes and Don’t Be Kendall, as well as heavy hitter names in the industry like Redveil. They strive to create music and spaces for queer, Black, youths.  

Snacks, Modern Cults, Snowcuffs

Formed from the scattered ashes of rock & roll elusives, SNACKS brings primal, violently catchy jams to a thirsty southern audience. Focused on basement recordings & life in Alabama, SNACKS became a full-fledged guitar & synth driven live, revealing themselves to not only have timeless 60’s pop sounds with jangly hooks but also drone and psych abilities not too far removed from the likes of Spacemen 3 or The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Infectiously catchy tunes with vocal melodies that stay stuck in your head days after.Modern Cults is power pop trash pop slacker pop rock. With continuing inspiration from Sparklehorse and an added dose of just cryptic enough songwriting from the likes of Stephen Malkmus and Alex G, Modern Cults is urgent and complex but easily accessible with melodies catchier than a cold.Snowcuffs is a Chicago-based dream pop band, transcending the genre with razor-sharp hooks, entrancing vocals, and a bombastic rhythm section. Dueling guitars and hypnotic synths take the driver’s seat, producing a lush, multi-layered sound. 

The Science Fair (Detroit), Naked Brunch, Paper Cups

Representative of their roots in Detroit, The Science Fair brings an eclectic rock sound that references the deep soul grooves of Motown and fuzzed out guitars of The Stooges, with a pop sensibility that makes you want to dance as much as it makes you want to rage.Naked Brunch is a four-piece rock band from Chicagoland. Groovy, irreverent, and eclectic, this is body-bumping music that’s meant to be seen live. Local Chicago Indie rock group playing all originals calls Rogers Park home. The band practices in RP and can be found playing on the beach at local hotdogs stands, and at venues throughout Chicago. This show will bring you a fusion of Pat Benetar, Dinah Washington and and Heart.

Chrissy Corazza, Curt Oren, Extravision

Chrissy is an Iowa-born Chicago musician who plays bass for a variety of local acts including Janet Blackwell, The Megan Esther Band, and b.lake. Primarily, she sings, writes, and plays bass for the highly collaborative six-piece band Public Ritual.Extravision is a band from Iowa and makes psychedelic prairie music. Their new album “Temporary Fountain” explores a blend of acoustic and electronic instrumentation and experiments with glitchy textures a la Animal Collective, Bon Iver, and Frank Ocean.

Annie Fish & the Hot Bono Band Present: U2, Wallplant, Neon Croissant

U2 was formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1976 and has since sold over 150 million albums worldwide. Annie Fish was born in 1987 and has been yelling in Chicago since 2005Wallplant is bedroom pop inflicted post punkNeon Croissant is the genre bending, feature on every song collaboration of Trung Vu and Abenicio Casias.

Patter, Museum of Light , Bursting, Loose Face

Patter is a 3-piece music band that blends elements of melody, rhythm, and sound into something that can only be described as Music.Museum of Light’s debut record, Horizon, pulls between two poles: big, crushing, overwhelmingly heavy riffs and dreamy, Zen-like washes of ambience and found sound. Horizon is a lush, dense, and cinematic record, but without the self-seriousness and lack of restraint that underscores many other releases within the genre.  Busting is a Chicago band comprised of current and former members of Yautja, Thou, Stress Positions, Great Deceivers, Dust Muscle, Ands, & As Hell. Loose Face is a punk band from Chicago featuring members of Call Me Lightning, Richard Vain, Fuerza Bruta and Storm Clouds.

Matthew McNeal and Neighbors You Know

Matthew McNeal is an artist/songwriter based out of Fort Worth, Texas, known for crafting a modern analog sound while blurring the lines of genre. The band has released four studio albums alongside an all-star cast of studio personnel, all of which have aimed to move the needle forward in terms of creativity and storytelling with each song. When all of the elements come together – the spirit of indie rock, the passion of soul music, and the honesty of country music – Matthew McNeal and company craft a sound that is uniquely their own while being unmistakably representative of modern Texas music.
